Account regionsπŸ”—

When creating a Maia account, users select an account region, which determines where their data and resources are stored and processed. This region is fixed once the account is created and cannot be changed. To use a different region, a separate Maia account must be created.

Account regionπŸ”—

When you sign up to Maia, you can create or join an account.

If you choose to create an account, you must also choose which region you would like to set for your Maia account. This is your account region.

Some Matillion features involve your business data being processed and/or stored in Matillion's infrastructure. Matillion will only process and/or store the data required to use our tools. In these cases, it will only be within the selected region. Your choice might be based on a combination of geographical closeness, legal jurisdiction, or other factors.

Your account region contains your data and resources and can't be changed after your Maia account is provisioned. If you wish to subscribe to another region, you'll need to create an additional Maia account.

Customers who use Hybrid SaaS development models can continue to host their data and resources in the region of their choice.

Types of dataπŸ”—

Customer dataπŸ”—
